Last Spring, we launched a fundraiser for our Grace Counseling Benevolence Fund. This fund helps us help more people who are in need of counseling services but can’t afford them. We do not believe cost should prevent a person from receiving help, and the Benevolence Fund is one of several options we offer clients looking to alleviate the financial stress of seeking mental health services.

We were amazed by the generosity of people in our community who support what we do here at Grace Counseling! This truly was a whole team effort as each person on the team, whether clinician or administrative staff, were asked to participate and raise money. We even had some friendly competition along the way to inspire more participation.

By the end of the campaign, our team raised $7,865 which will all go directly to helping clients afford professional counseling. These donations were raised by 57 different individuals. Some of these were long-time supporters, but others had never heard of Grace Counseling until we launched the campaign. What began as a fundraiser enabled us to reach even more people with the message of Grace Counseling. We were able to share the hope we have for our clients struggling with mental health issues. Our goal was to be able to provide more counseling services to people in financial need by raising money, however, we were also able to expand our community of supporters, and thus bring more awareness to the need for affordable mental health services.

We want to thank our generous supporters for believing in this mission and for coming alongside us as we support the needs of our community.

Our Benevolence Team regularly reviews applications from clients to receive assistance, and the money raised only a few short months ago is already being put to good use to provide children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with counseling services. Even though the fundraising campaign is over, you can still give to the benevolence fund through our website, or by check or cash in the office (simply specify that it is for the benevolence fund). The need for financial assistance is an ongoing need, and we want to make it easy to continue supporting the good work that is being done in the lives of our clients. Donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation goes directly to the Benevolence Fund, helping us help those who need it most.

Thank you again for your generous support. You are helping us make a difference in our community!
