Sometimes, it seems as if every day is hard and life is just too much. Relationships are not working out, friends seem far away, and it feels like we are alone to fend for ourselves. It is even difficult to know who we are. I want to help you navigate this internal terrain as we work together for your healing. I believe that my experiences and training have uniquely equipped me to go to those places that are difficult to traverse alone.

As a counseling intern, I can offer discounted counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and families to work through pains in depression, anxiety, sexuality, gender, relationships, trauma, spirituality, and identity. I have a team of excellent licensed professional counselors supervising and working with me to provide the safety, wisdom, and security needed to give you the best care we can offer.

I have had the opportunity to gain experience from a variety of sources: teaching high school art, living in China where I taught English, receiving training in social justice and diversity issues, and learning in a counselor training program that meets the highest standards for its field. People that I have worked with in the past describe my style as peaceful, empathetic, intuitive, and compassionate. I tend to gravitate toward questions around existence, childhood, and meaning as I counsel. I take a narrative therapeutic approach to understand people’s stories as I walk alongside them into deeper insights about themselves and the world around them.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and I hope that I will have the opportunity to get to know you as well. If you have any questions or want to know more, please reach out.
