Licensed Psychologist, Executive Director

We are built for relationship, and when key relationships in your life are distressed, it can feel like your whole world is turned upside down. Do your thoughts gravitate toward a relationship in your life that just isn’t right? Maybe you aren’t feeling loved or prioritized by your spouse or significant other. Maybe you feel like you can’t do anything right in the eyes of your partner.

For over 25 years I have been passionate about helping people heal and reconcile broken relationships. Couples often enter treatment at a time of crisis, correspondingly following an infidelity, at a time of marital separation, or when the marriage is in serious trouble. It is surprising how many relationships have been restored when one or both partners thought there was no hope. I am knowledgeable regarding the available research and materials from the relationship experts. However, my best learning has come from working with couples who have successfully brought their relationships from the brink of disaster to a place of healthy love, connection, and intimacy. It is of course absolutely possible, and I’m proud to say I’m kind of a nerd about healthy relationships.

I can help you identify the core problems, but of course you will have to work hard to implement changes in the relationship dynamic. We don’t waste time on the blame game, but instead focus on changing the relationship patterns that have not been working. Couples often need to develop new skills for resolving conflicts productively. We identify the core emotional wounds that trigger in the relationship cycle and then learn how to acknowledge and tend to those wounds instead of arguing about them. Then lose-lose is transformed into win-win. I’m ready when you are!
