Suzanne Cooper, M.A.

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

All too often we find ourselves repeating the same behaviors, pursuing the same types of relationships, and feeling frustrated with the same emotional experiences. We get stuck in a cycle that often leaves us feeling lost, disconnected, misunderstood, and undervalued. These patterns can cause us to desperately ask, “What is wrong with me?”

While navigating my own recovery journey, I felt called to walk beside others struggling to find identity, purpose, and meaning in their own lives. Through my own experience, I have developed the belief that healing is experienced through confronting negative beliefs about ourselves and replacing behaviors that no longer serve our needs.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in pursuit of a Certified Addiction Counselor credential, I can offer discounted services to adults, adolescents, and couples who are seeking relief from relationship issues, addictions, spiritual wounds, and shame from the past. I believe that everyone should have the ability to access quality services regardless of finances. I have gained experience working with people battling for, and experiencing freedom from, their own damaging thinking patterns and emotional burdens.

As your counselor, I am determined to create a space for you to discover your own authenticity through a safe and transparent clinical relationship. I am confident that we can systematically explore the foundation of your struggles, and then develop solutions to address these problems. I would consider it an honor to support you on this courageous journey.
