Do you feel like something is missing, even when life seems “fine”? You have tried the advice, strategies, and tools everyone talks about… but something still feels off.
During my undergraduate experience at Harvard College, I remember feeling so hopeless, confused, and ashamed about my internal struggles. I tried to white-knuckle my way into feeling happier: changing my routines, reading self-help articles, taking cold showers, volunteering, and eating healthy. On paper, I had every reason to be happy, but on the inside, I was deeply insecure—I felt like I had no idea what I was doing with my life.
I learned that no amount of achievement or pursuit of perfection could replace the slow work of healing past wounds and making sense of my story. As I took brave steps toward healing, I discovered the hope, relief, and joy that come from doing the work—gaining insight into who I am, strengthening emotional coping skills, practicing distress tolerance, and learning to live with nuance. It’s from this place that I want to come alongside you in your journey, offering both my professional training and lived experience as we explore what healing and growth can look like for you.
I work with individuals (18+) and couples, drawing from skill-based and insight-oriented approaches including psychodynamic therapy, existential therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I pay close attention to the process of therapy itself, because I believe the relationship we build together can open new possibilities for how you relate to yourself and others.
As a Counselor Intern, I work under the supervision of a highly experienced clinician and am able to offer reduced-fee counseling. If you are interested, I would love to connect—please feel free to reach out by phone, email, or by requesting an appointment.
Cindy is in her third year of the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Denver Seminary. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard College.
