  accepting new clients

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or lost in life’s challenges? Do things seem hopeless? You might be wondering if anyone can truly understand what you are going through or if real change is even possible. I want you to know that you are not alone and that there is hope. Your desire to move towards a better life and healthier relationships is possible with the right help.

My passion for therapy stems from my belief that it is powerful and healing to have a space to be heard and supported while addressing challenges and achieving goals. I work with couples and individuals from all walks of life who want happier and more satisfying lives. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, struggling to repair their relationships, learning how to better respond to difficult seasons of depression, stress, anxiety, and challenges. They are striving to improve their mental health, emotions, and self-esteem.

I provide my clients with the tools and skills to better understand themselves and feel resilient, grounded, and empowered to make changes. My approach is empathic, collaborative, and exploratory, and I draw from a combination of skills and insight-oriented modalities including emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

You are worthy of having a safe space to be heard, nourished, and supported. I believe that counseling should be available to everyone and offer reduced-fee counseling for those that qualify. Please feel free to reach out to me by phone or email or request an appointment. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and discuss how I can come alongside you in your journey towards growth and healing.

Barb holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate.
