accepting new clients

Life can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to feel stuck when stress, loss, or old patterns keep getting in the way. I believe therapy should be a place where you don’t have to pretend — where honesty, authenticity, and even humor can sit side by side. My approach is relational at its core: I see healing as something that happens when we feel truly seen, understood, and supported.

In our sessions, we will focus on what matters most to you. I will listen closely, ask good questions, and give you tools that you can actually use outside the therapy room. I often use stories, metaphors, and humor to make big ideas easier to grab onto. At the same time, I will challenge you to stretch yourself and experiment with new ways of thinking and relating.

My background blends psychology, pastoral care, and cross-cultural experience. I have taught, counseled, and worked with people from many different backgrounds and nationalities. I have served clients from all walks of life, from rural China all the way to urban Detroit. I especially enjoy working with adults who want to deepen their self-awareness, strengthen their connections, and move from surviving to thriving.

If you are looking for a therapist who will listen deeply, challenge you kindly, and walk with you as you try new ways of living, I would be honored to meet you. Together, we can create a space where growth is possible and where you don’t have to carry your story alone.
