While I use evidence-based cognitive-behavioral and strength-based techniques, I also recognize that some struggles are rooted in past experiences that need to be worked through and healed. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, I take a trauma-informed approach, ensuring a safe and supportive space to address these past wounds when they arise.
In addition, as a Certified Mental Health and Nutrition Clinical Specialist, I help clients explore the connection between food and mood from a mental health perspective, focusing on emotional self-awareness rather than diet plans or nutrition coaching.
