Being a girl can be hard– and it can also be fun, rewarding, empowering and exciting! It is important to celebrate what makes you unique, to honor your feelings and experiences, and  for you to be seen and heard. It is important to feel confident, to be connected and to have clarity of who you are. You are as much a physical being as you are an emotional, sexual, spiritual and relational being- each part of you is worth attending to. Life is full of seasons, whether it be the peaks or the valleys, knowing yourself intimately is a very brave thing to do. In this space, I believe that you have the capacity and internal strength to heal and to be your best, healthiest self.

As a graduate from Denver Seminary, I have my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with children, teens and young adults in individual and family counseling. In addition to my education and training, my background has provided me with a foundation of integrating creativity and enthusiasm into my work as I hold space for safety, honesty and remembering. I counsel from a restorative and holistic perspective that acknowledges each season, part and person in process. I will encourage you as you work to set relational and emotional boundaries, clarify your values, create coping skills and self-care routines, honor life and death, and grow to know yourself in a loving way.

I take a collaborative approach in creating a plan that helps you feel empowered to grow, heal and live well. Hurting and healing are both necessary, there are many turns and loops and times in life where the ‘both/and’ come together in the same experience. Together we will honor where you have been and where you are going with hope-filled purpose. I hold certifications in Prepare & Enrich (premarital and marital assessment tool) and in a Comprehensive Grief, Trauma-Informed, Care model (CGC). I am also a provider with Postpartum Support International.

It is an honor to meet you where you are at in your grief, questions, celebration, fear, joy, wonder and desires- whether it is messy or mundane, you are not alone!
