Has life not turned out how you thought it would? Have the hopes, dreams, and unfulfilled expectations left you feeling empty, stuck, or with no sense of purpose or direction? Depression, anxiety, grief and loss, or questions about identity, faith, or purpose can leave us feeling paralyzed and without hope. I have experienced many of these problems in my own life and know how daunting it can be to seek help. If this is your situation, know that you have found someone who is willing to listen, care, and help you work through what has been weighing you down so that you can live a more meaningful life.
My gentle presence and compassionate style creates safety for exploration and healing to take place. I am passionate about holding hope for people who find themselves in desperate situations. If you are ready to turn the next chapter of your story into one of hope, healing, peace, and renewal then I would be honored to support you during this process. We will work collaboratively so that you can heal from wounds of the past, explore and address your thoughts and emotions in the present, and move forward to a hopeful and fulfilled future.
My clinical training from Denver Seminary and professional experiences have included specific trainings in grief and loss, mood and anxiety disorders, and perinatal care including postpartum mood disorders and perinatal grief and loss. I also have prior experience providing in-home care to seniors where I supported and built relationships with families and patients facing chronic illnesses, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia. A few other counseling specialty areas include life transitions, identity, work/life balance, and self-compassion.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I offer counseling to adults throughout the lifespan. If you or a family member need help in these areas, please contact me to set up an appointment.
